# BaseZap Fee Structure: Platform Fee and Network Costs

> BaseZap charges a transparent 2% platform fee on each tip. Network fees on Base cost less than $0.01. See exactly what recipients receive.

BaseZap shows you the full fee breakdown before you confirm any transaction. There are no hidden charges — the 2% platform fee and estimated network cost are displayed upfront, in plain numbers, every time you send a tip.

## Fee Breakdown

Every tip on BaseZap involves two costs: a platform fee and a Base network fee. Both are shown in the confirmation screen before you approve anything.

The platform fee scales proportionally with the tip amount. Network fees remain well under \$0.01 regardless of tip size, thanks to Base L2's low-cost execution environment.
